Supporting Veterans Beyond Stand Down: Rehab and Wellness Care

Veterans are at significantly higher risk of developing a substance use disorder (SUD) as compared to non-veterans. Despite attempts to address this concern by the Veteran Affairs (VA) and other agencies over the last two decades, this risk continues to rise.

🛡️ For many veterans, transitioning from military life to civilian well-being can be a profound journey. 🛡️

Issues like alcohol or substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, and dual diagnosis conditions often require specialized support structured to the unique experiences of service members.

Many veterans require ongoing clinical support to address substance use, PTSD, depression, and co-occurring mental health conditions that outreach alone cannot resolve.

Sierra Health + Wellness provides specialized rehab for veterans through trauma-informed addiction treatment, mental health services, and structured recovery programs designed around military experience. These programs help veterans transition from short-term assistance to long-term stability, healing, and sustainable recovery in a supportive, veteran-focused care environment.
